TEAM NEWS: Koscielny out of Arsenal XI to face Bayern Munich with injury

Arsene Wenger has been forced to leave Laurent Koscielny on the bench for Arsenal's clash with Bayern Munich after the centre-back picked up a minor hip injury.

Gabriel will start alongside Per Mertesacker for the Gunners while Joel Campbell keeps his place to the right of Mesut Ozil, with Alexis Sanchez taking up his normal position on the opposite flank.


Bayern boss Pep Guardiola, meanwhile, has left Arjen Robben on the bench. The Dutchman missed the clash at the Emirates Stadium two weeks ago with a thigh injury but has since returned to first-team action in the league.

Bayern Munich starting XI: Neuer; Lahm, Martinez, Boateng, Alaba; Alonso, Thiago; Coman, Muller, Douglas Costa; Lewandowski.
