(VIDEO) How Kiss Daniel, Seyi Shay embarrassed themselves

Nigerian singer Kiss Daniel was a guest on Ebuka Obi-Uchendu’s Rubbin’ Minds on Sunday, April 17, 2016. In the course of the programme Ebuka asked Daniel to state his real age but the Woju singer made it clear that “my age is my business.” He said: “About the age stuff, my team we are putting out a press release on that. For now, I would love not to say anything. Because, it’s more than how old I am now.” Where do you need a press release to announce your age? The age controversy all started when Kiss Daniel revealed he graduated with a 4.32GPA in Water Engineering from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, in 2013, putting his age, as at the time of graduation, at 18 which does not tally with his age on Wikipedia. The singer had since changed his age on Wikipedia.

In the same manner, female singer committed a blunder on a live programme that has got so much attention on social media. In an interview on Hip Tv’s Trending hosted by Nancy Isime, the singer was asked what EP means to explain what an EP really meant and she goofed.
Seyi Shay proudly said: “Of course an EP could stand for electric package. One thing seems to be common to Seyi Shay and Kiss Daniel. They were both ill-prepared for a live interview. For Daniel, he should have known that he will be asked questions relating to his age issue since it is still recent and has generated talks on social media. For Seyi Shay she has only shown how much she knows about her chosen profession. As an artist, Shay should know the rudiments of her music career. If she had not dropped an EP before now, she would have heard of other artists doing so. She should know that EP is an extended play and sure she has some in her car.
