A PREMIER League star paid a gangster a six figure sum to not break his legs after he slept with his wife, reports claim.

The footballer, who hasn't been named, jetted off on a lavish European break with the "glam, sexy, lady", a WAG told Mumsnet.

But the "European gangster" then showed up at the luxury hotel flanked by heavies - forcing the player to hire bodyguards to protect him as he holed up in his room.
He is then said to have paid the mobster a six-figure sum so the situation could be "forgotten about" and his legs not broken, Asaph Mic reports.
The mum-of-three, who uses the name Iamawagama, divulged the details in a forum on the parenting site after another user asked her for the "most scandalous story involving a footballer".
She replied: "Hmmmm.... A married footballer was holed up in a posh European hotel with a glam sexy lady (not his wife). Sexy lady’s husband found out.

"Sexy lady’s husband happens to be big European gangster. Arrives at hotel with his goons and creates merry hell.
"Footballer refuses to leave room and has to ship in his own security to diffuse the situation.
"Oh! And apparently footballer paid six figures to gangster for the situation to be forgotten about!’’
The user also revealed footballers hit on each other's partners - with one WAG said to have "caused a few arguments" away from the pitch.
She said: "She held a lot of power over that team and it’s safe to say they didn’t play very well that year.”
