The gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State, Abubakar Audu has been reported dead.
SaharaReporters reports that Audu died of undisclosed medical reasons shortly after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared the elections inconclusive.
A source contacted by Asaph Mic in Kogi also confirmed the rumour.
“He is dead. My friends in APC just confirmed to me,” a Kogi-based reporter told Asaph Mic on phone.
However, neither the APC nor his family members has confirmed the death.
